OFFICE TEAM
 CHRIS MILTIMORE-President
Chris Miltimore  Hired to work in the warehouse in 1986, Chris has held a variety of positions with Interstate. From the warehouse he became a "Hot Shot" driver, making deliveries around the Metro Detroit Areas (Oakland & Macomb Counties). He was then promoted to run a parts route called Ameritron, a subsidiary company. He served as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints from October 1989 through November 1991. Upon his return he was re-hired and promoted to Route Sales Manager. He was again promoted in 1993 to General Manager and  became Vice-President in April 1996. On May 31, 2000, Chris purchased the business. He has a Bachelors degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix. His hobbies include: flying (he holds a Private Pilots License), SCUBA diving, piano playing,  and any form of travel. He and his wife Stephanie have a daughter and have been married for 10 years.  He is also a volunteer firefighter with the City of Troy, Michigan.
 STEPHANIE MILTIMORE-Chief Financial Officer & Secretary
Stephanie Miltimore  Stephanie married into the family business and began working in the office May 1993. In May 1995 she became the Office Manager and in 1998 she became the Corporate Controller. Stephanie graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelors Degree in International Relations with an emphasis in International Political Economy.  She became a "stay home" mom with the birth of her daughter but remains active in the financial aspects of the company.  Her hobbies include: traveling, calligraphy, cooking, swimming and golf.
JEPH MILTIMORE-General Manager & Warehouse Manager
Jeph was hired June 1993 as a Warehouse Assistant. He was promoted to the Assistant Route Manager position in June 1994. In June 1995 he was again promoted to Route Sales Manager. Jeph gave up that position in October 1997 prior to his accepting a call to become a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  He returned in February 2000 and was re-hired to manage the specialty markets that Interstate is involved in, such as Gel, Heavy Commercial, Medical, etc. He was promoted again in October 2002 to General Manager.  Jeph is an avid motorcyclist and enjoys basketball and SCUBA diving in his spare time. He is also a volunteer Firefighter with the City of Troy, Michigan.   Jeph was married to his wife Tori in October of 2000.
KIM ODGERS-Office Manager
Kim was hired in October of 2008 to run our office.  She has exceeded our expectations in every way and we are extremely pleased to have her as part of our team!  Kim oversees the Accounts Receivables and Payables and manages the daily office operations.  Kim's hobbies include music, reading and spending time with family.  She married her husband David.

ROUTE MANAGEMENT TEAM

 
MIKE CLEARY-Route Sales Manager (WEST)
  Mike was hired in October of 2007 as a National Accounts Manager.  Having served in that capacity for a year, he was promoted to Route Sales Manager in July of 2008.  Mike is a volunteer firefighter for the City of Troy, enjoys spending time with his friends and is married to his wife, Lisa.
 JACK SPREYER-Route Sales Manager (EAST)
Jack was hired in June of 2007 to take over as the East side Route Sales Manager.  Jack is a Certified Route Sales Manager, having gotten his certification from Interstate Battery System of America in June of 2008.  Jack has a highly developed sense of customer satisfaction and routinely goes above and beyond the call of duty for his customers.  Jack is a volunteer firefighter with the City of Troy, enjoys sporting clays and also enjoys camping with his family.  Jack is married to his wife Donna and they have 2 children.
 JIM FITZ-National Accounts Route Manager
James Fitz   Hired in September 1990 as a Warehouse Assistant, Jim has steadily risen to the occasion. In June 1993, Jim was promoted to Assistant Route Manager and continued in that job until his promotion to Warehouse Manager in November 1994.  Jim is currently filling in as National Accounts Route Manager for the foreseeable future.   In his free time Jim enjoys volleyball, basketball and is an avid NASCAR fan. 
 DAN PLOVIE-Assistant Route Sales Manager
Dan was hired in December of 2007 as a part-time warehouse assistant.  It wasn't too long until his work ethics were apparent and he was soon promoted to a full-time position as an Assistant Route Sales Manager.  Dan is married to his wife, Megan.
 

WAREHOUSE TEAM
 
 DAVE FURMAN- Warehouse Manager
Dave was hired in June 1983 and is our most senior team member, having worked for the company for over 19 years. Dave was recently promoted to Warehouse Manager in July of 2008.  Dave is a Certified Route Manager, having attended numerous training seminars. Because of the long relationship that Dave & Interstate has had, he is one of our most valuable team members. Dave's hobbies include: bowling, camping, golf & softball. Dave & his wife Kathie have been married for over 30 years and they have 3 children.
DAVID FURMAN- Warehouse Assistant
David is the son of long time team member, Dave Furman and currently a college student.  He helps out most afternoons and on Friday's helping to oversee the inside portion of the National Account labeling program.  He is studying to be an attorney.
 RICH McCAIG- Warehouse Assistant
Hired in December of 2008 as a part-time assistant, Rich has constantly gone above and beyond securing a full-time position with varied job responsibilities.  Rich is involved with our Used battery program, he delivers to our high volume dealers in pallet quantities and is often seen around town picking up spent batteries for our recycling program.  Rich is an avid hunter, is a volunteer firefighter with the City of Troy and enjoys riding his motorcycle.
